HERITAGE  Furniture craftsmanship has been in the Davies Family for generations. Robert Norrie (Andrew Davies great, great grandfather), made furniture for the first Governor General of New Zealand, Sir George Grey. Some of this furniture is on display in the Auckland museum, as exquisite examples of the period. In 1972, Robert Davies was commissioned on behalf of the New Zealand public, to make a bedroom suite for the retiring Govenor General Sir Arthur and Lady Porritt.

Bob's commitment to the honest reproduction of period furniture laid the foundation for his son Andrew, who now operates the business. Andrew displays the same outstanding dedication and skill as his forefathers. His pieces embody a heritage of more than 40 years of experience, expertise, and dedication.
